Thanks to Kathy Quandt for her donation of the list of books in Métis leader Jim Brady's personal library. Brady mysteriously disappeared with Cree friend Absolum Halkett 51 years ago, in June 1967. Before his disappearance, it was common for people to remark on all the books that lined the wall of his small La Ronge log cabin.
